Beauty Products To Pack For A Summer Adventure

I can’t believe that summer is finally in the city, I have been waiting for it for way too long! Summer is my favourite season as it is the time when I can actually go out and do stuff (in contrast to my hibernation during the wintertime). I am super exited for this summer and I have already made sure that I have my summer beauty essentials ready for all of the cool adventures that are to come! ☀️

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil

As some of you may probably already know, I am a huge fan of multi-purpose products that make travelling with so much easier as they can be used in many different ways. This Huile Prodigieuse from Nuxe is definitely one of my favourites. It has a dry oil texture containing seven botanical oils, such as repairing Argan oil and moisturizing Tsubaki oil. This all-in-one product is perfect for face, body and hair – it nourishes, smoothes and evens out skin as well as softens hair and promotes healthy growth. Not to mention that its new delicate floral perfume smells absolutely incredible! When I used this product for the first time (it comes in a spray bottle which is super convenient), I was so amazed by the feeling I felt on my face the moment it touched my skin – it was so unbelievably soft, it is so hard to describe it, you need to experience it yourself!

Here is a little secret on how I use Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil on my face and body: I apply it right after I take a shower when my skin is still wet. Water helps the oils penetrate the skin (oil applied to dry skin will coat the skin but won’t sink in). What is more, oils applied on wet skin lock the water into the skin increasing hydration levels.

In addition, I love to use Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil on my tangled hair to help brush it through without pulling it. Another bonus of using this product is that your hair will not only be brushed, soft and shiny but also smell gorgeous!

Vichy Ultra Fluid Mineral Tinted Sunscreen Lotion SPF 60

Whether you decide on staycation or go on vacation, you need a solid SPF (especially for your face). I like tinted sunscreens for days on the beach or by the pool when you want to look natural, but need some help here and there to even out the skin tone. This Vichy Ultra Fluid Mineral Tinted Sunscreen Lotion SPF 60 gives skin a tint (not a ton of coverage) as its formula is ultra-lightweight and has a silky texture to it. The sunscreen itself not only provides protection against UVA and UVB rays, but also strengthens skin’s natural defense system thanks to cult-favourite Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water (a concentrate of 15 minerals at an amount of 5.2 grams per litre, drawn from a depth of 4,000 metres at the natural springs of France’s Auvergne region) that is in it. It is non-greasy, non-shiny and non-sticky which is perfect for high summer temperatures.

Dermablend Smooth Liquid Camo Hydrating Foundation + Loose Setting Powder

The reason why I chose this duo for this blog post is because it truly does a great job in holding makeup in place and preventing it from melting down (which is the last thing anyone would want on their summer adventure). When it comes to the Smooth Liquid Camo Hydrating Foundation from Dermablend it has everything I always look for in a foundation: SPF (again, super important when you are out and about on your vacation), buildable coverage, lightweight formula, all day hydration and matte finish. Moreover, it has a flexible liquid texture that’s not cakey or masky – and I know I don’t need to tell you how hard it is to maintain a flawless makeup look when a heat wave comes. Paired with Dermablend Loose Setting Powder, I can assure you that your foundation will last for hours and hours as the powder blends smoothly and absorbs excess oil to mattify complexion and enhance wearability.

St. Tropez Gradual Tan Watermelon Infusion

Whenever I travel, I love to do a self-care day that includes self-tanning before the trip, so that on my actual vacation I don’t need to worry about getting burnt and can safely enjoy the sunshine while wearing SPF. However, when I apply a fake tan before the trip and don’t tan on my vacation, after a couple of days my skin starts losing its glow, getting dry (and coming off quicker when I am a lot in the water). That’s when St. Tropez Gradual Tan Watermelon Infusion – Everyday Moisture Miracle Body Lotion comes to help rescue my tan. It is infused with effective natural hydrating skincare actives including watermelon and hyaluronic acid that deeply moisturize skin for many hours. It has an ultra-lightweight formula that absorbs instantly, deeply nourishing and moisturizing the skin for an even and natural sun-kissed glow. The best thing about it is that it gives gradual tan which means you can’t really overdo it, it can be reapplied as many times you need to build a desired depth of tan and lock in moisture.

Foreo LUNA play plus

I cannot imagine my skincare routine without a facial cleansing brush, but they tend to be bigger and take up a lot of space (every inch counts when it comes to that luggage, you know what I mean). This cute and compact LUNA Play Plus from Foreo is my skin saviour as it provides facial cleansing and massaging that complements both my skin and on-the-go lifestyle. It fits in my purse or backpack and uses AAA batteries (no extra cords or chargers to carry around) for a 1-minute cleansing routine I can indulge in any time! Foreo LUNA Play Plus removes impurities, oil and dead skin cells with pulsations that are diffused through soft silicone touchpoints to gently unclog my pores and improve the absorption of my skincare products. This innovative facial cleansing brush leaves my skin looking healthy, radiant and clear (troubled skin is the last thing anyone wants to worry about when on vacation).

belif Aqua Bomb Jelly Cleanser

Most of my skincare products that I genuinely use when travelling are from belif. I have my belif kit always ready with my essentials like cleanser, toner, essence, eye cream and moisturizer in travel-friendly sizes (I refill them as needed). If you read my blog for a while, you know that I love belif and its The True Cream Aqua Bomb is a staple in my beauty cabinet (I already went through three jars of it). Formulated with the same hydrating properties as The True Cream Aqua Bomb, this Aqua Bomb Jelly Cleanser provides a refreshing burst of hydration while removing stubborn makeup, impurities and build-up. The bouncy jelly cleanser creates a dense, soft, and rich foam that contains ingredients like Lady’s Mantle, which is known for minimizing the look of pores and helping remove free radicals from skin while supporting natural cell turnover, as well as Napiers Aqua Formula that supports hyaluronic acid. It moisturizes my skin to prevent the tight, dry feeling after cleansing and hydrates it for a smooth, glowing complexion.
