Recently, I have been getting a lot of beauty products to test (which I am very thankful for!). So since we have summer right now and I have a little bit more time on my hands to dedicate to blogging, I decided to start a new series where each month I will be choosing my favourite products that I think are worth trying and recommending to you babes! 💁🏼♀️
Maybelline Total Temptation Eyebrow Definer Pencil
If you follow me on IG, you probably already know that I am amazed by this Maybelline Total Temptation Eyebrow Definer Pencil. The reason why it is a revolutionary product for me is because of its precisely fills in brows with a first teardrop-shaped applicator. Not to mention that it is a mechanical pencil (no more whittling!).
I have it in soft brown (305), which I think perfectly matches my brows. I begin by defining the brow with the narrow end of the teardrop tip. Then I use base of the tip to fill from the brow anchor to the brow arch. Next, I fill in the remainder of the tail of the eyebrow using the narrow end of the applicator. Finally, I blend and style with the fluffy spoolie end (it is tiny so you have to make more moves than with a regular one, but its size makes it more precise in brushing and separating hair). 👀
L’Oréal Pure-Sugar Scrub
This is a second product from L’Oréal first collection of sugar scrubs that gently exfoliates revealing instant baby-soft, smooth skin. Previously I have had Kiwi scrub, which looks so yummy and was absolutely a sweet treat for my face! This Grapeseed Pure-Sugar Scrub pairs naturally derived brown, blonde and white sugars with garpeseed oil, fine acai and monoi oil. Its formula not only gently exfoliates to brighten and refresh dull skin, but also smells super yummy! 😋
I apply it onto clean, dry skin avoiding the eye area while massaging the product over my face and lips with wet fingers. I like to leave it for a couple of minutes on my face to let the ingredients work on my skin and then I rinse it with water. Since I have oily skin, my face loves a good exfoliator, so I use this scrub 3-4 times a week.
Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioner
We all know that coconut oil is basically a miracle and it has many amazing uses. This Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioner is a detangling mist is enriched with coconut oil, shea butter and biotin, to restore moisture to dry, damaged hair and to help reduce split ends and breakage. This product is unique not only because it has a lot of wonderful benefits, but also because it comes in a spray bottle but doesn’t spray out like a typical oil does. Instead, it has a milky white light lotion consistency that condition my hair while making styling and brushing it so much easier! 💆🏼♀️
I just spray it into the palm of my hand and work it onto wet or damp hair from roots to ends, comb through and call it a day.
Essie Nail Polish
Inspired by a sailing trip down the coast with a perfect mate, the essie spring 2018 collection is guaranteed for smooth sailing. My favourite nail polish from this collection is pas-port to sail, which is a soft sandy beige nail polish lightly splashed in ivory shimmer – just perfect for a subtle nude summer manicure! 💅🏼
Kiss New York Professional Contour Kit
Kiss New York Professional Contour Kit is an exclusive contouring kit that not only has three beautiful shades of blendable powders to contour, bronze and highlight, but also includes an illustration guide with how-to’s for a face contour. Whether you want to learn how to properly sculpt, shape and define your features or look for product that will have all three powders in a one palette at an affordable price, this contour kit is a great option as it gives you everything you need in order to contour, bronze and highlight your face (it also comes with a specially designed contour brush, which is super helpful!). 🙋🏼♀️
