I have been always in love with teddy lined denim jacket, but I could never find the right one for me (for a person who is cold 99.9 per cent of the time). I was looking for a jacket with teddy lining everywhere, not only on a collar, but since all of my attempts ended with a failure, I was joking to my boyfriend that one day I am going to borrow (and never return) his jacket that had a great warmth/weight ratio. To be honest, I think he was afraid that this steal would happen soon, so he bought this super soft teddy denim jacket for me. When I put it on, it feels like I am wearing the coziest and warmest blanket on me. 🐻
With a perfect teddy lined denim jacket in my closet and the winter season outside, I decided to try the art of doubling on denim. There are countless options of wearing denim on denim – working with an all-blue canvas you are free to experiment with different textures and colours. You can also make your monochromatic look stand out by personalizing it and adding your signature accessories.
My outfit exemplifies the traditional Canadian Tuxedo – it consists a denim jacket and a pair of jeans. My trick to pull it off is to ensure that both denim items are in the same, or similar, shade of blue (I think it looks more put together), while keeping the rest of the clothing simple. To spice up the whole outfit, I like to mix denim with leather touches (boots and purse). 💙
