Since my skin is super sensitive, Korean beauty products with gentle ingredients have never disappointed me (and my face). I have been into Korean skincare for a while now and thanks to The Face Shop Canada it is finally time to share with you my experience and knowledge!
Face masks are definitely my favourite part of Korean skincare (I am writing this blog post with one of the MASK.LAB sheet masks on my face).
MASK.LAB face masks
MASK.LAB chitosan face mask containing 50 per cent chitosan fibre and an exfoliating serum with both AHA and BHA, this purifying mask effectively absorbs surface impurities and removes dead skin cells.
Application:
- Cleanse and tone face.
- Fold the pouch along the dotted line on the lower compartment of the package and press firmly to burst open the liquid outlet.
- Squeeze the serum into the sheet mask pouch and press to make sure the sheet is well soaked.
- Place mask over face, align with eyes, nose and lips and smooth out.
- Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes and remove. Wash off.
MASK.LAB anti-aging foil face mask is a dual-structured sheet, which is covered with a layer of powerful foil, prevents the anti-aging essence from evaporating and allows it to effectively absorb into skin to make it firmer.
MASK.LAB double wrap face mask is an intensely moisturizing mask features a double-wrapping sheet with a layer of special film that locks in moisture and effectively promotes the absorption of ceramide serum.
Application:
- After cleansing and applying toner, remove face mask from sachet and gently unfold.
- Place face mask smoothly on the entire face to fi the curves, adjusting around eyes, nose, and mouth.
- After 10-20 minutes, remove face mask and pat face to promote absorption of remaining essence.
The Solution face masks
These face masks feature a light-as-air sheet that feels soft and weightless on skin. The Solution Radiance Face Mask is formulated with serum containing Vitamin C, which has brightening qualities and provides a radiance solution to lacklustre skin. The Solution Hydrating Face Mask contains hyaluronic acid that helps dry, thirsty skin lock in moisture.
Application:
- Wash face and apply toner.
- Remove sheet from package and remove film on one side of sheet.
- Apply evenly and firmly to face.
- Remove sheet after 10 to 20 minutes and gently pat to promote absorption of remaining essence.
Dr. Belmeur Daily Repair Line
Dr. Belmeur daily repair line helps calm sensitive skin, protects skin and boosts moisture. Low-irritant and clarifying products take care of excess oil and maintain skin’s oil and moisture balance. Their clean skin solution contains betaglucan, chaga mushroom extract, blue citrus peel extract; uses Skin-sync Rx™ to care for excess oil, soothe skin, and provide moisture. Their are formulated without eight additives: parabens, synthetic pigments, artificial fragrance, phenoxyethanol, mineral oil, benzophenone-3, propylene glycol, talc. Their fragrance is 100 per cent natural, which includes tea tree leaf oil, bergamot fruit oil, rosemary leaf oil, lime oil, and eucalyptus leaf oil. Plus, the line is dermatologically tested, which is always a huge bonus!
Dr. Belmeur bubble foam cleanser
Dr. Belmeur bubble foam cleanser is a slightly acidic gel-type cleansing foam with a pH similar to that of the skin barrier to minimize irritation to sensitive skin.
Application: Dispense an appropriate amount into your hand and work into a lather. Massage onto face, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Dr. Belmeur toner
This is my favourite product from this line, a low-irritant Dr. Belmeur toner that protects sensitive skin and boosts moisture.
Application: After washing face, dispense an appropriate amount on a cotton pad and gently apply to skin using a wiping motion. Pat to promote absorption.
Dr. Belmeur moisturizer
Clarifying Dr. Belmeur moisturizer calms sensitive skin and protects skin damaged by the external environment.
Application: Use after applying toner. Take an appropriate amount and gently apply on skin. Pat to promote absorption.
Miracle Finish CC ultra moist cushion
Miracle Finish CC ultra moist cushion is formulated with collagen that helps improve resilience. Thanks to its moisturizing calendula, hyaluronic acid, rosemary and lavender extract, the product provides intense moisture, elasticity and a natural dewey finish. This foundation applies smoothly and silky on skin and gives it a glowy finish for a healthy, beautiful complexion.
Application: All you have to do it is to press the puff applicator to the cushion and lightly pat onto the face. Apply over areas of concern for more coverage 🙂
