I can’t believe that fall is officially here and it is already time for my September favourites! As always, testing and trying new products is a great learning experience for me and in this blog post I would like to share with you amazing beauty products I have discovered last month (and still been using!) 😍
Stila One Step Correct
Recently my face has been looking and feeling pretty good, so all I have been using on it is just some powder and Stila One Step Correct. This skin tone correcting and brightening primer is my discovery of the year (or life) as it is completely changed my everyday beauty routine. Now, I just swirl my way to colour-corrected, bright and smooth skin just with one product. It is formulated with a blend of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to moisturize and nourish the skin. It also contains three colour-correcting pigments to even out complexion. Green neutralizes redness and conceals blemishes. Lavender counteracts sallow undertones for a vibrant, energized look. Peach brightens, illuminates, and helps diminish the appearance of sun spots. I love to be able to quickly pump a small amount and apply this product to clean skin with my fingertips in the morning without worrying about multiple steps I would normally take.
Jowae Youth Concentrate Complexion Correcting
Jowae (soon available in Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada) is an innovative French-Korean company that uses medical plants and natural ingredients in its products to restore the balance of the skin and help it find its harmony. Its Youth Concentrate Complexion Correcting is an anti-dark spots care based on antioxidant Lumiphenols (a plant with a high level of antioxidants to help the skin regain balance) and white tea. I don’t really have any dark sports on my face, but I use this product because whenever I am stressed or fatigue my emotional health always shows up on my skin. This product is amazing in protecting my sensitive skin not only against daily aggressions like pollution and climate variations, but also prevents the results of stress and fatigue. My skin definitely feels more balances and harmonized after using it every morning.
Amorepacific Moisture Sun Protector
Amorepacific Moisture Sun Protector has launched in Canada just in September, but I immediately fell in love with it. This multi-purpose sunscreen combines nourishing Asian botanicals and potent anti-aging ingredients to provide ultimate protection against UV rays for youthful looking skin. It is formulated with bamboo sap, lotus flowers, and green tea polysaccharides to help protect skin from harmful effects of the environment and replenish tired skin. It also contains sebum-absorbing powder that help maintain fresh and smooth skin, which I think is pretty revolutionary (if you have oily skin like me, you will appreciate it so much!)
Korres Pure Greek Olive
Korres Pure Greek Olive is another super new and multi-purpose product, perfect for fall. It is a silky, silicone-free oil for intensive nourishment of face, body and hair. Rich in extra virgin olive oil and powered by a blend of vitamins C, E, F and fatty acids, it helps improve the natural lipid barrier while enhancing skin’s suppleness and elasticity. For extra everyday hydration, I like to lock my moisturizer with this product – I place two drops of the oil into the palm pf my hands and massage my face and neck with gentle strokes outwards. For glowing skin all over the body, I apply a thin layer on wet skin immediately after shower and lightly massage over body to seal in moisture. For silky hair, I use two drops (no more) to clean, towel-dried or dry hair tips to help eliminate frizziness and condition split ends, adding extra shine and softness.
Belif Classic Essence Increment
As you may know from my previous blog posts, my skin and I really like Belif hydrating creams, so I also had to try this Classic Essence Increment that instantly breathes life into skin by providing essential nutrients, vitamin and up to 24 hours of moisture. Its highly-nourishing formula keeps the skin’s natural moisture barrier to keep skin supple and elastic, restoring an even tone and smooth texture. Formulated with heartsease and catnip, natural hydrating agents, and chickweed, a vitamin-rich apothecary herb, it leaves my skin fully invigorated and energized.
